Week 3 woo hoo - everyday is one day closer to my goal - feeling a bit shabby this morn - might have something to do with the 10 beers and whole large pizza I had last night - blah
This week I am going to introduce ice packs nightly and do more kettle bell swings. I have been a little slack keeping up to my exercise plan - just been so busy and lazy to fit it into my schedule.
Sunday - Day fifteen
weight: 91.0kg +1.5kg
total loss: 3.8kg
Feeling blah today... did 30 mins of ice pack today on my neck and drank heaps of water so far. Have yet to get my fat ass down to do some shopping so haven't had any beans or veg today just protein - will make dinner a good one.
update - Finaly went shopping and stocked up for the week - bought stacks of tin beans and lean meat and veg... now I am sorted for week three!
Picked up some kangaroo meat (really lean) and must sound strange to any people viewing this who are not from Australia. It is really good meat and we have stacks of kangaroos. Have included a pic.

I will drink lots of water today! I am aiming to drink at least 4 litres - I think water is the key.
Did a big cook up last night in preperation for the work week - made a egg bake thingy pictured below with spinach, eggs (mostly whites), tuna, lentils, cabbage, tomato... all I can say is hmm - not very tasty :( Think I added too many ingredients :S Will still eat it though as it fills the belly, but I assure you I won't be making it again!

Yes I know last night I had a cheat meal, My weight shows it today also - I had a super crazy day at work and really felt like a drink or 10!!! I have decided that I am going to experiment with this diet as Tim suggests and after reading on someone else s blog that they do two cheat meals instead of one cheat day - I have thought I might do the same... it seemed to work pretty well for me last week. If this does not work for me I will revert back to just one cheat day.

Hmm feeling a little shit about my weight loss, I am pretty much the same as the end of week one :( - starting to think that my 'cheat meal idea' perhaps isn't such a good one! I am also thinking I am not doing enough exercise that I initially planned to do 4 times a week. Must make an effort next week to do this like I originally planned. Well I will keep on going - it's the end result that counts I guess.

Where do you find the egg whites? You don't separate them yourself and chuck out the yolk, do you? At home (Canada) I used to buy just the whites in a carton... I've been looking at my local shop but can't find it! How does the kangaroo taste? Is it gamey?? Also - how do you make your mustart chicken?

Hey Kate - Yup I separate them my self... is a bit of a waste, but eggs are fairly cheap. I haven't tried the egg whites in a carton yet but I know you can get them - cause a friend of mine had them... she said she got them from the freezer section at Coles. Must keep my eye out next time I'm at the shops.
Kangaroo does have a little distinct flavour to it, but I find if you flavour it enough with your own spices you can hardly tell the difference to beef and it is so much better for you - really high protein low fat.
Mustard chicken... actually I made some last night I just put the chicken in a freezer bag added - hot English mustard, a dash of Worcestershire sauce and a dash of vinegar... I also like to add fresh garlic - leave marinate for at least 30mins - then cook it on the BBQ for the best taste :)
